Oliver Dimsdale - Sir Toby Belch

Ollie trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and is a founder member and co-artistic director of Filter. He has performed in Filter’s shows - Faster, Caucasian Chalk Circle, Water and Twelfth Night. And he co-directed the company’s Three Sisters. His many other stage credits include work at The Royal Exchange, Manchester (Great Expectations, and The Dead Wait - for which he won The Manchester Evening News Best Actor Award), The Royal Court (Workers Writes), The Sheffield Crucible (The Comedy of Errors), The Chichester Festival (Pravda), The Salisbury Playhouse (Beautiful Thing, Five Finger Exercise) and The Playhouse Theatre (The Creeper). His many television credits include lead roles in Law and Order (ITV), Breaking the Mould (BBC Four), Harley Street (ITV1), Larkrise to Candleford (BBC), Fallen Angel (ITV1), He Knew He Was Right (BBC), Byron (BBC) and Dalziel and Pascoe (BBC), Casualty and Doctors (BBC). His film credits include Cosi, Nostradamus, Rocknrolla and Pest. Radio drama includes Sharp Focus and In The Company of Men.

Ferdy Roberts - Malvolio

Ferdy trained as an actor at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He Co-founded Filter with Ollie and Tim in 2002 and has performed in all Filter’s shows ( Faster, Caucasian Chalk Circle, Water, Three Sisters and Twelfth Night). Away from Filter Ferdy has worked extensively in the theatre, his most recent credits include Wallenstein (Chichester Festival Theatre), On Religion (ON Theatre), The Birthday Party and The Dumb Waiter (Bristol Old Vic), Switchback (Glasgow Tron), Frankenstein (Derby Playhouse), The Contractor (Oxford Stage Company), The Sea (Chichester Minerva Theatre), Playing The Victim (Told By An Idiot, Royal Court), Another Country (West End). His film credits include, Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll, Mr Nice and Honest. His television includes Goldplated (C4), MI High (BBC), Your Mother Should Know (BBC). Ferdy is an Artistic Associate at The Lyric Hammersmith.

Poppy Miller - Viola/Sebastian

Poppy has performed in Filter's Three Sisters and Twelfth Night. She is an experienced stage actress playing leading roles throughout the UK, at the RSC and at the Almeida. Her films include: Lighthouse, Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll, The Flood, A Changed Man.

She's well known from her extensive television career appearing in many dramas including Emma, The Fixer, Kingdom, Torn, Goldplated, New Tricks, If I Had You, Red Cap, Buried, The Commander, In Deep and Attachments.

Tom Haines and Ross Hughes

Musicians and Composers Tom and Ross trained at Guildhall alongside Ferdy Roberts and Oliver Dimsdale. Tom has scored the feature film Buried Land and Filter's Caucasian Chalk Circle and Faster. He has also composed music for the Young Vic, RSC and in the West End. He composed the Twelfth Night score with Ross Hughes.

Ross is a multi-instrumentalist who works across jazz, pop, rock and theatre. He supported Peter Gabriel on his recent European tour.

Nicholas Tennant - Orsino/Sir Andrew Aguecheek

Nicholas has performed in Filter's Caucasian Chalk Circle. He is a vastly experienced stage actor with credits that include roles for the RSC, NT, Soho Theatre, The Globe and the West Yorkshire Playhouse.

His films include: Sex Lives of the Potato Men, Oscar & Lucinda and Backbeat. TV includes Terry Pratchett’s The Colour pf Magic and Hogfather, the series of Residents and The Bill.

Gemma Saunders - Feste / Maria

For Filter: Three Sisters (Lyric Hammersmith & Tour), Caucasian Chalk Circle (National Theatre & Tour); Faster (BAC and Soho Theatre). Other Theatre includes: The Method (Oval House); Proving Mr Jennings (Courtyard Theatre); Proof (The English Theatre, Frankfurt); and The Lady Vanishes (National Tour).  

Television includes: Law and Order UK (ITV); Peak Practice (Carlton); Innocents (Channel 4). Radio includes: Carlton Hobbs Award Winner 1999 and has appeared in over 50 plays for the BBC.
